  • Auburn Jam Live – New Musicals showcase for charity

    Auburn Jam Music production studio and record label are hosting their third annual Auburn Jam Live gig as part of their local MyRaynesPark Festival. This year they are showcasing the work of ten talented new musical theatre composers and songwriters with whom they have produced albums, with performances from current and future West End stars who have recorded at the studio. Proceeds from the show will go to Merton Against Trafficking.

    Tickets for the showcase can be booked online at www.ajmlive.auburnjam.co.uk or direct with the venue, the Lantern Arts Centre, by calling 0208 944 5794.

    Songwriters performing their own work will be:

    Will Barratt (Jersey Boys, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd), currently writing for his debut album;

    Joe Sterling (Honk at the Tabard Theatre, writer of new musical Roundabout), currently recording his second EP with Auburn Jam Music;

    Nadim Naaman (Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, One man Two Guvnors, Chess, Titanic) whose debut album We All Want The Same was released by Auburn Jam Records last year and who has since played two sell-out solo gigs at the Union Theatre and the Pheasantry.

    The evening will also feature performances from: Jennifer Hepburn (Les Miserables, Taboo), Michael Storrs (Les Miserables), Suzi Power (Blood Brothers), Shaun McCourt (Joseph and his Technicolored Dreamcoat UK Tour), Michael Riseley (currently rehearsing for Les Miserables), Kate Scott (Honk and Cinderella at the Tabard), Hollie Cassar (Fame at the Gordon Craig Theatre), and Joel Hutchings (soloist for AIDA Entertainment).

    They will be performing songs by:
